The Polar Express Project

Description

Ok so the back story is necessary… when the kids were little we watched movies as a family every Friday night. One of our favorites was Polar Express at Christmas time. I always wanted to take the kids on one of those Polar Express trips but it was never in the Christmas time budget! So, I came up with my own version.

I would design and print Polar Express tickets and jazz them up with glitter. We’d pick a night and stick the ticket under their pillow. When they went to get in bed, they’d find the ticket under their pillow. I can’t explain the shrills of happiness we’d hear coming from their rooms. You’d think we were actually going to the North Pole!

With cocoa and ticket in hand to board, Adam would punch their tickets… 😂… just like the conductor in the movie.

We’d pick up Grammy and papa and off we’d go thru Bedford to see the lights. I think they may have been even more excited than the kids… !!

And so now you understand this passion project of mine… the twins are seniors and Anna is a freshman.. 😭 …. Even though I may force them to go this year anyway, it’s not the same. Their little voices of excitement and eyes wide open will forever be engraved in my heart.

And so, now it’s your turn mommas and grandmommas of littles! I want you to experience this too!

I’ve designed an exclusive North Pole of Bedford map that your kiddos can use to map out the ride, a surprise ticket coupled with a puncher, 4 hot cocoa cups, cocoa, marshmallows, a train whistle (you can hide this part if ya want), and last but not least… the magic “Believe” bell!

The map features a spot where your child can draw what they see or you can print a picture from the night. This makes a wonderful keepsake to frame or store somewhere special!
